bharatpur parrots

Catherine’s comments: I marvel at the biodiversity here. I love using Laxmi Vilas Palace as a base for 2 nights while I explore the expansive wetlands with a local bird guide. When I first visit the park in the 1990’s, there were only a handful of international travelers and very few locals using the park. By the time of my last visit in December, 2025, the popularity had grown exponentially with so many visitors from all over India and the world. I especially enjoy seeing the joy of nature shown by the young visitors.
